San Francisco, California July 19, 2003

Volvo Caravan Across the Golden Gate Bridge

To celebrate FIFTY YEARS OF VOLVO WAGONS, Volvo Cars North America in conjunction with the Volvo Club of America will sponsor a caravan of Volvos across the Golden Gate Bridge. This will happen early in the morning of Sunday August 24th and will be followed by breakfast and “show and shine” Volvo get together at the San Francisco Presidio.

We will gather in the parking lot of the Officers Club building at 7:00 AM. The California Highway Patrol will escort us across and a photographer will take pictures.

All Volvo owners are invited to the event. You can participate in the Caravan, or just drop by the Volvo meet later in the morning. If you are interested in being in the Caravan or just attending the event, please contact me via email lee@vcoa.org and tell me your name, the model Volvo you will be bringing to the event and how many are in your party. It is absolutely critical that you let us know you are coming so that we can make proper arrangements for space, food, etc.

If you live in the SF Bay area, or are willing to drive great distances, please let me know that you are planning to come. You will be given specific instructions and directions to the event when we receive your RSVP.
